*UPDATED* TRADE Seminar Sciences Po/PSE : Kalina MANOVA (Oxford)

Kalina MANOVA is an Associate Professor of Economics at Oxford and Senior Tutor at Christ Church College. She is a CEPR Research Fellow, Associate at the LSE Centre for Economic Performance, a Research Affiliate at the International Growth Centre, and a Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. She serves on the editorial boards of Review of Economic Studies and Journal of International Economics.

She is specialised in international trade and investment. Her research explores three themes in international economics: (i) the effects of financial frictions and resource misallocation on international trade, multinational activity, and the welfare impact of globalization; (ii) the role of firm heterogeneity, with a focus on productivity, product quality, and management practices; and (iii) the determinants of firms’ participation in global value chains and its consequences for firm performance and the aggregate economy.

Kalina MANOVA will present a paper, joint with Andrew BERNARD, Emmanuel DHYNE, Andreas MOXNES, and Glenn MAGERMAN, at the next Paris Trade Seminar on the theme:
