*EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION* TRADE Seminar Sciences Po/PSE : James HARRIGAN (Visiting Faculty at PSE, on leave from the University of Virginia)

James HARRIGAN is Professor of Economics, Visiting faculty at the Paris School of Economics this academic year on leave from the University of Virginia. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). He was an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for twelve years before joining the University of Virginia. He has also taught at Sciences Po in Paris, Columbia University and the University of Pittsburgh. He has published many articles in leading scholarly journals, and is a former Co-Editor of The Journal of International Economics.

He conducts research on economic inequality, international trade, and economic geography.
