TRADE Seminar Sciences Po/PSE : Danial LASHKARI (Harvard)


Danial LASHKARI, recently graduated with a PhD degree from the Economics Department at Harvard University, and will join the Yale University as a post doctoral associate at the Cowles Foundation in September 2017, and Boston College as an Assistant Professor in September 2018. His research interests are on the intersection of growth, innovation, and international trade. Prior to Harvard, he obtained a PhD degree at the MIT computer science and artificial intelligence laboratory, where he worked on a number of interesting applications of machine learning techniques in neuroimaging. He received MSc and BSc degrees from the University of Tehran, Iran in 2005. He will present a paper at the next Paris Trade Seminar:
