TRADE Seminar Sciences Po/PSE : Andrew BERNARD (Tuck at Dartmouth)

Andrew BERNARD is the Kadas T’90 Distinguished Professor of Economics at Tuck at Dartmouth. During the 2017-2018 academic year, he is a visiting Professor of Economics at the LSE. He is also a Research Associate at NBER and at the Centre for Economic Performance, a Research Fellow at CEPR and he sits on the Executive Committee of the Conference on Research in Income and Wealth.

Andrew Bernard is an expert in international trade and investment and specializes in firm responses to globalization. Recently he has documented the emergence of factory-less goods producers in the US, revisited traditional views of deindustrialization and explored the dynamics of new exporters and the role of intermediaries in global trade. His current research focuses on the evolution of global (and domestic) production networks and the consequences for firm performance.
