Benjamin FABER is Assistant Professor of Economics at UC Berkeley. He is affiliated to a number of centres: Faculty Affiliate at the Clausen Center for International Business and Policy and at the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA), NBER Research Associate, a CEPR Research Affiliate, Research Affiliate at the International Growth Centre (IGC), an Affiliate at the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD) and of the Y-Rise, Macro, Growth and Welfare Effects Program. He is the Associate Editor of Econometrica.

His research interests focus on globalization and economic development, household cost of living, and real income inequality.

Benjamin FABER will present a paper, joint with Lauren BERGQUIST, Thibault FALLY, Matthias HOELZLEIN, Edward MIGUEL, and Andres RODRIGUEZ-CLARE, at the next Paris Trade Seminar on the theme:
