PEPES Seminar: Sascha O. BECKER (University of Warwick)

Sascha O. BECKER is Professor of Economics and Deputy Director of the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE) at the University of Warwick. He is also a Research Fellow at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht University, at the Centre for Research & Analysis of Migration (CReAM), UCL, at CEPR, at CESifo, and at IZA. He is a Research Professor at Ifo the Institute for Economic Research. He is an Associate Editor for the Economic Journal and a member of the Editorial Board of the Italian Economic Journal, Explorations in Economic History and the European Journal of Political Economy.

He is an established empirical micro-economist with main research interests in economic history, education economics and labor economics.
