*UPDATED* PEPES Seminar: Marco E. TABELLINI (Harvard Business School)


Marco E. TABELLINI is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Harvard Business School, in the Business, Government, and the International Economy Unit (BGIE). Prior to joining HBS as faculty member, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same Unit.  Prior to joining HBS he was at MIT where he successfully defended his doctoral disseration in 2018.

His areas of research include economic history, economic institutions and political economy as well as international trade. His current research for which he has been endowed focuses on political and economic effects of immigration. He was notably awarded a UPS Endowment Fund at Stanford University for “Immigrant Group Size and Immigrant Assimilation” and a research grant for "From Immigrants to Americans: Race, Status, and Assimilation During the Great Migration. In 2018 he won the European Economic Association Young Economist Award for the paper "Happily Ever After: Immigration, Natives' Marriage and Fertility" with Michela Caralana. 

Marco E. TABELLINI will present a paper, joint with Vasiliki FOUKA and Soumyajit MAZUMDER, at the first PEPES Seminar of the year on the theme:
