Nicolas Coeurdacier receives a "Chair of Excellence" grant from ANR

Nicolas Coeurdacier, assistant professor at the London Business School and who will join the department in September 2010, has received a "Chair of Ecellence" grant from the ANR (Agence Nationale de la Recherche). In the words of the ANR, this type of grant is for young researchers who have already a strong international reputation by their publication record. The objective of the « Chair of Excellence » programme is to attract researchers based outside France. On 14 projects that were selected in 2010, Nicolas Coeurdacier's project is the only one in social sciences. This was already the case last year with Emeric Henry.

The program of the Chairs of Excellence can be found here and the list of the selected projects is here.
