*EXCEPTIONAL SCHEDULING* PEPES Seminar: Moses SHAYO (Hebrew University of Jerusalem)

Moses SHAYO is an Associate Professor and Pinchas Sapir Chair of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is also Member of the Federmann Center for the Study of Rationality as well as of the I-CORE Center for Empirical Legal Studies.

His primary research interests lie in political economy and behavioural economics. He is particularly focused on understanding the empirical determinants and implications of social identity, and in developing a theoretical framework where identities are endogenous so as to study income redistribution, nationalism, ethnic conflict, international integration and consumption behavior. He is also interested in how economic integration and financial markets shape preferences and whether they can reduce conflict.

Moses SHAYO will present a paper, joint with David ATKIN and Eve SIHRA, at the next PEPES Seminar on the theme:

How Do We Choose Our Identity? A Revealed Preference Approach Using Food Consumption
