Elise Huillery receives a research grant

Elise Huillery received a research grant from the Agence Nationale de la Recherche to conduct research on colonial history and its long term impact on economic development with a focus on former French colonies. The purpose of this project is to extend the work Elise has done on colonial West Africa to the other parts of French empire. This research project is part of a broader one joint with the Paris School of Economics and IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Développement). "
