Elise HUILLERY is appointed to the DGESCO's Scientific Council for School Education

Department faculty member Elise HUILLERY was invited late March to sit as a member of the Scientific Council for School Education (Conseil scientifique de l'enseignement scolaire - CSES). The CSES is an independent body of experts that advises the Direction générale de l'enseignement scolaire (DGESCO) of the French Ministry of Education.

The CSES provides expertise and scientific support to the Ministry of Education for the latter's programmes and projects.

Elise HUILLERY 's research is mainly focused on development economics, economics of education and economic history. Over the past few years she has conducted a number of field experiments in health, education and micro-entrepreuneurship and has authored three major policy reports related to school education and youth programmes in France which made her an obvious choice for the CSES.
