Eduardo PEREZ-RICHET awarded an ANR "Tremplin" Grant



Designed to improve France’s success rate in European Research Council (ERC) calls, Tremplin-ERC (T-ERC) is a new funding instrument set up by ANR for Work Programme 2017.

Eduardo PEREZ-RICHET, Associate Professor of Economics, who joined the Department this Fall, has been awarded a "Tremplin-ERC" grant by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) for his project "Strategic Communication: Theoretical and Experimental Investigations" (or StratCom).

Professor Perez holds a PhD from Stanford University, where, in addition to being awarded a 3-year Graduate Fellowship, he was twice awarded the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. In 2013 he was awarded the Young Researcher in Economics Prize by the Fondation Banque de France. The same year, he was Alliance Visiting Assistant Professor at Columbia University.  Professor Perez acquired his HDR from University Paris I in 2014. He came to the Department from the Ecole Polytechnique where he taught since 2009. He is currently Research Affiliate at CEPR.

Between 2014-2016 (duration of the project), Professor Perez was member of the l’Institut pour le Contrôle et la Décision de l’Idex Paris-Saclay's Steering Committee. iCODE's aims are fostering research, spin-offs creation, training and diffusion of Control and Decision (link).
