Nico VOIGTLANDER is Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at UCLA's Anderson School of Management. He is a Research Associate at NBER and Research Affiliate at NBER. He is Associate Editor for three journals: Journal of the European Economic Association, Explorations in Economic History, and Journal of Development Economics.

His research interests include Economic Growth and Development, Economic History, Political Economy, Trade and Productivity.
