DEPARTMENTAL Seminar: Mohammad AKBARPOUR (Stanford)

Mohammad AKBARPOUR is Assistant Professor of Economics at the Stanford Graduate School for Business and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford. Prior to joining Stanford he was a Research Fellow, at the Becker-Friedman Institute of the University of Chicago. He is on leave this semester as a Visiting Professor at Harvard.

His research work is on designing market institutions and understanding the role of networks in the economy. Recently, he has been looking at questions related to economic inequality, organ markets, and information diffusion in networks.

Mohammad AKBARPOUR will present a paper, joint with Suraj MALLADI and Amin SABERI, at the next Departmental Seminar on the theme:
