Departmental Seminar: Claire LIM (Queen Mary University)

Claire LIM is Professor of Economics at Queen Mary University's School of Economics and Finance. Before joining Queen Mary this year, she was Assistant Professor at Cornell University and at Stanford's Graduate School of Business. She was also a CSDP fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and a National Fellow at the Hoover Institution.

Her research spans Public Economics, Political Economy, Industrial Organization, Health Economics, Law and Economics. Her primary interest lies in empirical research in political economy. Her research investigates how characteristics of political environments and the design of government institutions interact with the behavior of public officials, the conduct of regulated industries, and social welfares.
